Basketball in San Francisco is represented by the Golden State Warriors who play at the nearby Oakland Coliseum Complex. This large stadium seats over 15,000 spectators and tickets can be purchased at the stadium itself. The basketball season in America runs from November through to April.
American Football
The Bay area has two professional American football teams, the San Francisco 49ers, who play at 3 Com Park, Giants Drive and also the Oakland Raiders, who's home ground is at the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland. The 49ers are an outstanding team in America and have been regular Super Bowl champions. Games are played on Sunday from August through to December and tickets sell out early in the season, so be sure to book in advance. Alternatively, tickets may be sold at the gate before the match at a higher price.
Aqua Gliding

Aqua Gliding is a thrilling way to view San Francisco from the air and is available at the San Francisco Hang Gliding Center. The tiny plane flies over San Francisco's immense Golden Gate bridge and this is one of the best ways to see the cityscape of San Francisco. The flight is very exciting and memorable, although it is quite expensive.
